Won't work with VPN
Riot Fest, your app won't work with a VPN.
I appreciate your willingness to troubleshoot. I use NordVPN. The app simply shows the cityscape background with no menu hamburger or any icons when on VPN. It does the same on iOS 15 (latest) and iOS 16 newly updated. Same in local WiFi or on LTE in the wild. iPhone XS Max, but confirmed on others.
Feature request: cache the schedule on the phone so we can see it when the Wireless service inevitably fails due to being over capacity at the fest. The app becomes useless as soon as the connection is gone.

Not sure what you mean. We've tested this with ExpressVPN and had no issues with the app on any of the tabs?
We certainly haven't prevented any functionality from working like you describe. The app itself is mostly views of key pages of our website, which has a pretty clear privacy policy if you're interested in reading that.
Can you let us know which VPN you're using so we can test?

Riotfest map
They had touted that the map was coming and when it came out it was nothing more than a pdf. It could have been interactive and working with gps to show exactly where you were on the map. Also it would have helped if it showed which way was North.
