Rise of Empires: Fire and War 12+

Some in my IOS background I literally have the game is open and stuck in what appears to be a very simple check mark that needs to be attended to. I just started playing this game less then 5 minutes ago after installation, in a very common part of these games where it walks you through what to do. Although I just have to swipe up as the hands shows you to do, it’s apparently not that simple. I have swiped east, west, north & south and cannot get past that part. This is very frustrating and will give it a few more goes before I try another similar game. The best way to describe where I am stuck is, I see the whole battlefield and the hand is in the south west corner just above the black box titled “english.” It animates to swipe north east and when I try, it does NOTHING. ***update*** I shut the game down and restarted it and has moved on to the next task. So that would make it now two tasks where the greenish animated hand I’m supposed to swipe, has froze up. What’s going on here developers? Is this a bug? I just downloaded the game so there couldn’t be an update…?

I am a new player and I was really enjoying the game at first, but… After you put a lot of time and effort into this game, you’ll find that players who have been playing longer, and are much stronger than you can just come to your city and pillage you into the ground. Unless you have money for peace shield, anytime you want to step away or go to sleep. YOU WILL BE ROBBED. When that happens, you’ll find that your game progress will be completely stagnant, as it costs, money and resources, to upgrade your castles, crops, etc… adding to your frustration, will be the fact that the person who attacked you can just teleport to parts unknown on a different section of the map, leaving you no way to retaliate. (not that you could because they are at least 8 to 10 times stronger than you). THEN, you will be demoted and or removed from your alliance with zero remuneration for what you’ve put in to helping build said alliance. I hoped that the developers can or or at least willing to try to do something to level the playing field a little bit. I know attack for attack is part of the game, but. There should be some kind of level system or something. Someone with over 1 million attacked power shouldn’t be able to ransacked someone who has barely over 200,000. And then just run away, leaving you with nothing to show for the time, effort, and money you put into the game. If the game continues as is, I will be forced to delete my account entirely.

This game is fun to play, no question about that. It has the elements of planning, strategy, group commitment. But, when things go wrong within the game the game managers are not vert committed to resolving issues in a timely fashion. Be very cautious of submitting a claim if you believe there was a mistake in monies that are involved. These game managers will react abruptly as I they are taking vengeance on you. Without discussion or willingness to discuss the issue. They will shut you down and are unwilling to resolve mistakes. Just be careful…..

Update on this issue ….. The customer service access in this game is hidden and clearly not designed for players to request help. I have been waiting several day now for some form of response. Apple sent me a message showing a game response to my above review and their response was to turn in a complaint to customer service. I thought that is what I frigging did. This is how they describe in their response to do contact customer service….
“(click next to th base-Game Help-Customer Service-fill in the corresponding questions). GIVE ME A FRIGGING BREAK. Do you guy really think this would help anyone? All I can say is your only hurting yourself because you won’t get another penny of my money if this issue isn’t resolved. Again very poor customer service.
