Welcome to Robocats, where tactical strategy meets sci-fi fantasy in an epic showdown between RoboCats and mysterious alien visitors. Command your Robocats as they use energy to stun and capture alien invaders on the grid. Master the tactical skills to complete all 5 progressively challenging levels. Play with a friend in 2 player mode!
Robocats combines the timeless appeal of turn-based strategy with smooth, polished gameplay that's easy to pick up but endlessly engaging. Move your RoboCats across the field, positioning them strategically to capture aliens before they capture you. Unlocks reveal characters with three movement patterns and abilities, creating deep tactical possibilities.
• Base Units: Your basic RoboCats and aliens move forward one square at a time, perfect for building your front line and establishing territory control.
• Blue Enhanced Units: Special RoboCats with expanded movement in three forward directions and the ability to capture enemies from two squares away in higher levels. These enhanced units are key to executing advanced tactical maneuvers.
• Red Enhanced Units: The most powerful pieces on the board, capable of moving in all eight directions and capturing from extended range. Promote your normal units to king status by reaching the opposite edge of the grid!
Progressive Difficulty System
Robocats features 5 carefully designed levels that unlock as you progress, each ramping up the challenge:
• Level 1: Start on a cozy 6×6 grid with mostly basic units to learn the fundamentals
• Levels 2-4: Expand to 7×7 grids as more enhanced units join the fray
• Level 5: Master the full 8×8 chaos field with all unit types in play
Multiple Ways to Play
1-Player Mode: Command the RoboCats against an intelligent opponent that is relentless! The alien forces will challenge your tactical thinking with coordinated movements and clever positioning.
2-Player Mode: Challenge a friend in head-to-head competition! One player commands the robocats while the other leads the alien invasion. Choose any size grid and the spawn rate from any level. Who has the superior strategy?
Autoplay Mode: Watch the RoboCats and aliens engage in automated gameplay! Autoplay is perfect for learning advanced tactics or simply enjoying the action. Adjust the game speed to watch matches at your preferred pace!
