RouteUp plans your trip across NSW public transport — and keeps working when your signal doesn't. Trains, Metro, buses, ferries, light rail and NSW TrainLink regional services, planned from timetables stored on your phone, then overlaid with live running data whenever you have a connection. No signal underground, no reception on the platform, no data left for the month — the planner still answers, instantly. Most transport apps go blank exactly when you need them. This one doesn't. Every NSW mode in one app Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro, Sydney and regional buses, Sydney Ferries, and Sydney and Newcastle light rail are ready to go. NSW TrainLink regional trains, regional coaches and school buses are there too — switch them on when you need them. You choose what to keep offline Timetables are grouped by mode and region, so you download the ones you actually travel on and leave the rest off your phone. Nearby stops The stops around you, ranked by walking distance, with the modes that serve each one. Worked out on your phone from timetables you already have — your location is never sent anywhere. Live position map Watch your service move along its actual route geometry, not an approximation. Stop-by-stop detail Open any service to see its full stopping pattern with live times against it. New regions • Brisbane and South East Queensland: download Queensland Rail, bus, ferry and tram timetables and plan trips offline. • Melbourne and Victoria: download Metro Trains, Yarra Trams, Melbourne buses and V/Line and plan trips offline. Smarter trip planning • Direct trips that continue through Central are now shown as one ride, with no unnecessary change. • Saved station-to-station trips now show rail-replacement buses and other services during trackwork, not just trains. • Trips saved via a station now show the full timetable. • Switching to another day now shows the whole day's services instead of hiding earlier ones. Better live information • See how crowded your train is with a simple three-person crowding indicator on your active trip. • Trains that fall behind after departing now show their delay on the board. • Trains the operator is not actually tracking no longer show a false "On time". Trains visible on the live map without timings now say "Tracking live". • The live trip view no longer presents old timetable arrivals as live predictions, and clearly says when it is showing timetable times. • Late trains now show the scheduled time on the status line for a cleaner departure row. • Live data now keeps working when the operator updates its timetable mid-week.
