What is the Solar flare?
What's going on around the Sun and the Earth ?
So, the KSWC finally developed this space weather mobile APP.
It is expected that this APP is a portal site of the space weather, and provides the observation data, forecasting models and SWx monitors in real time.
The KSWC was formally established as such in 2011, and 14th member of ISES(International Space Environment Service).
The KSWC has dreamed of "the safety Korea without space weather disaster" by accurate forecasts and prompt alerts.

The main features
1. Space weather now
2. 3-day forecast of space weather
3. forecasting models and observation data
4. Space weather effects(Aviation, satellites, GNSS, Power Grids, Communications)
5. NEWS and announcement of of KSWC

Most In-Depth Space Weather App

I love this app because it’s so easy to use and for the fact that it provides so much information. It has all the information that one needs to be able to keep up with solar activity! The developers have hit it out of the park with this one!

Simple & easy to navigate

I'm a space weather scientist and like this app for its simplicity and the ease of navigation. I also like the fact that I can see ENLIL model handily, which would be a cool thing to watch for general public as well.

Excellent FREE Solar Monitoring

This FREE Solar Monitoring app is developed by [South] Korean Space Weather agency. It provides current (sometimes also going back 48 hours) data from our star. Not only does it provide tabulated data from the various global solar labs it also, very nicely, provides their latest videos. This is a HUGE plus.
If there is a problem it is the slowness of going from one video back to another screen within the app (at least on my iPh6sPlus device). Patience is key here.

Caveat: this, like most solar monitoring apps, is for those astronomers (amateur and professional) who can reasonably interpret the data provided. It will give you an idea if your area could see the Aurora, for example, but you must know how to interpret the data. It will not molly-cuddle interpretations. It is not designed for the wannabe who has not studied our parent star, at least a little bit.
Enjoy.
