Description

The Telementoring Quality Measure Toolkit Mobile App features resources to support the design, launch, and evaluation of telementoring programs that improve rural health. Telementoring is the use of telecommunication technology to deliver training, education, and support for health care workers. It can improve rural health by building local capacity, reducing professional isolation, improving access to care, and sharing best practices.

This app features:
1. Introductions to 6 models of telementoring, including value propositions and considerations for implementing them.
2. Descriptions and checklists of the steps through the RTTC's individualized technical assistance workflow to support teams through the launch and maintenance of their program.
3. Quality measure checklists for 5 telementoring models (ECHO, Individual consultations, online modules and curricula, podcasts and webinars) to support their launch and sustainability.

All app content is accessible without Internet access but can only be installed and updated when the device is connected to the internet.
This app was developed by the national Rural Telementoring Training Center (RTTC), a federally funded program to provide free training, tools, and technical assistance to support the implementation and evaluation of new and current telementoring programs for rural health workers. The RTTC supports evidence-based, high-quality telementoring programs that expand care access, build cultural proficiency, and improve rural health.
This project is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under grant number U5ARH45728 and title Rural Telementoring Training Center.
