Add gear faster with Scan Gear. Take or choose a photo containing one or more gear items, review the suggested names and categories, edit anything that needs adjustment, and save the selected items to your Gear Garage. You can also open the RUCKLIST storefront from the app menu. Shared pack lists—including private lists shared directly with you—now import correctly as your own private copy, and Home create cards make better use of space when optional content is not present.

Build pack lists faster by selecting multiple items directly from your Gear Garage. Search by gear name or brand, keep selections while filtering, and add everything at once. Existing matching items automatically increase in quantity. Pack List Details now uses one continuous scrolling view, giving you more room to review and check off items. You can also take a new photo or choose one from your library when creating or editing Pack Lists and Trips. Primary navigation now follows the same Home, Pack Lists, Trips, and Gear order throughout the app.

Plan every day outdoors with expanded Trip Weather. Select a date to see hourly temperatures, conditions, rain chance, wind speed, and destination-local sunrise and sunset times. Improved location matching helps ensure the forecast shown is for your intended destination. V1.4 also makes RUCKLIST smoother: resend trip invitations with clear confirmation and the last-sent time, choose photos with less permission friction, show or hide passwords, dismiss the iOS keyboard by tapping outside fields, scroll through signup on smaller screens, and begin new pack-list items with a quantity of 1.

Trips are better together! Invite other RUCKLIST members, see what everyone is bringing, coordinate shared gear, and keep the whole group connected with trip chat. Shared notes, driving directions, international destinations, and 16-day weather forecasts help everyone stay prepared. You can now choose whether each pack list is public or private, discover more community lists, and open imported lists right away. We also improved sign-up, trip-invitation navigation, and weight entry throughout the app.

RUCKLIST has a fresh look and smoother packing workflows. Long-press gear in your Gear Garage to select multiple items and add them to a pack list at once. Photos now upload more reliably across gear, pack lists, trips, and profiles. This update also adds direct Rate the App and Check for Updates links, along with navigation and display fixes throughout Trips, Mentors, and Outfitters.
