Wonderful app 👍

Safer Kid is a wonderful app and does a lot to help me and my husband understand how our daughter is using her phone. Having Safer Kid was part of our deal with her for getting a phone. We learned about it because my brother had several issues with his nephew and had tried a lot of apps and told us this was the best one. Safer Kid has greatly improved our communication with our daughter. She is free to use what she wants, but she installed 3 apps that we needed to know about and Safer Kid sent us notifications and explained what the apps were and what the potential issues are. There are so many apps and so much to know, and this makes it so much easier than us trying to learn about all of them ourselves. My favorite Safer Kid feature is the text monitoring. What we’re finding is that kids can be meaner to each other over text than in person, and this gives us a chance to keep an eye on what they’re saying and step in and parent when we need to. The best thing about Safer Kid is that it makes me feel OK when my daughter is on her phone. I know if there is something I need to know, Safer Kid will tell me. And that lets me have a lot of peace of mind in a time when it can be very scary for kids to have phones. If you are thinking of getting your child a phone, definitely get Safer Kid. It has made my life so easy, and I’m sure it will make yours easy as well. Thank you, Safer Kid!

I’m not the only one who’ll love to keep a track on their husband; knowing what he does on his phone and PC as well as his social media activities. I met this professional private hacker, HACKERDON1001@GMAIL•COM ... who handle such jobs with precision. Surprisingly, he offered me a 24hrs total refund if I find his services unsatisfactory but he delivered way more than I expected. This are some of the services he offers;

•Cleaning Criminal Records •GPS Location Tracking •Device Cloning •Bank Account Hack •Call Recording •Call Logs Retrieval •Remotely Accessing SMS •Softwares Cracking •Game Hacking And Cracking •Remote Device Control •Remote Email Spying •Message Retrievals •Intercepting Instant Messages - Facebook Spy, WhatsApp Spy, Viber Spy, Hangouts Spy, Skype Spy. -Results/Grades Modification; University, High School, Professional Schools etc. -Phone and PC bugging -Ambient Recording; Live listen and record voice surrounding phones -USSD control commands.

I’m quite sure he is into many more. You can’t underestimate what he can do for you. You might really wanna consider contacting him today on, HACKERDON1001@GMAIL•COM ... He is definitely going to be of great help. This is a positive recommendation, I have no regrets giving this recommendation.

App Doesn’t Work Properly

If you think you will be thoroughly monitoring your child, you will be disappointed. First of all, text messages are not always up to date in real time. You may get them the next day or not at all. If the messages contain time sensitive information then this could be detrimental. Secondly, Safer Kid implies that you can monitor apps, but in actuality you cannot see when a child is on the app, how frequent they log in, and most importantly you cannot see what they are doing on those apps. They only show when CERTAIN apps are downloaded not when or how they use them. Certain apps go undetected. You cannot see an exhaustive list of the apps they have on their phone. Not all apps are listed.

This app does NOT have gps tracking, which is the most important aspect of keeping our Kid Safer, this so called Safer Kid app doesn’t really bring about safety to our children as there are still many flaws with this app. Not worth the asking price. You will not notice many of these issues in the 7-day trial since they only arise when the situation does. At the very least Safer Kid should be equipped with a gps tracking system like “Life 360” would be great and real time text messages along with undetected listen-in phone calls and a more detailed activity history for ALL apps on the phone. It would be great to see everything they are doing on their phones. Safer Kid is a big disappointment. Something better is bound to come along.

Developer Response ,

Sorry you found the app confusing. A few things. First, any time you open the parent app, it will fetch the most recent messages (if it hasn't in the last few minutes). So, the texts are there but they may take a little time to import.

Second, and this is more important, SaferKid was created after studying THOUSANDS of actual cases of adults engaging in inappropriate behavior with children via mobile devices. Nothing in our product is theoretical. It's based on what the data actually shows would have kept these children from being raped, sexually assaulted, exposed to HIV and/or otherwise sexually victimized.

We can appreciate that people, like yourself, who haven't done this research may have some theories about what parents actually need. Our product is, however, based on that actual facts.

This is why we don't list all the apps on the child's phone. A 16 year-old could have 100 apps on their phone of which 2 or 3 are incredibly high risk for rape, sexting, bullying, etc.

Instead of asking parents to wade through a list of apps that aren't risky, we ONLY alert parents of the apps that are developmentally inappropriate based on your child's age. This is because, when we study the actual kids who were, for example, exposed to HIV by adults they met on apps, they were on apps that are simply too risky. We do that risk rating for you and only alert you when there are risks (of all kinds). This allows you to find out and immediately remove the apps, which removes the risk. This is a much better solution than the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force going undercover on these apps and hoping to lure this criminals away from your child.

So, what you think is broken about our app is actually the most important way to PROTECT your child. That, combined with our text monitoring is the most valuable way to keep kids safe. Not in some theory that we have, but based on actually working closely with members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, prosecuting attorneys, other members of law enforcement and child rape treatment center counselors.

We will try to do a better job of helping parents understand this so they don't find it as confusing as you did.
