Here's how:
• Download the SmartShop app to register – you’ll need to have your nectar card ready
• Save offers and earn Nectar points*
• Scan items you want as you walk around the store
• Pack your items as you shop
• Pay in a flash and feel like a VIP at one of our SmartShop checkouts** Or pay with Apple Pay!

You can use SmartShop on your mobile data or our free in-store WiFi, where available.

To see if SmartShop is available in your store, just tap the ‘Find a SmartShop store’ button in the app, or visit http://stores.sainsburys.co.uk and apply the ‘SmartShop’ filter within ‘Customer facilities’.

No internet? Uh oh

It’s a great idea - the app is fairly straight forward and seems easy to use. However, I went to use it yesterday and found that I needed to be connected to the internet to use it. I had no service in that big metal box of a store, and there was no WiFi available. So, Sainsbury’s it’s a good idea to try to help your customers but how about helping us to actually be able to use it?!

Issue about Apple Pay

The app was great. Until now I can’t no longer use apple pay to do the checkout, as the button is gone after I switched between another Apple ID.
