This app puts your lab on your iPhone: bills, test results, lab report PDFs, receipts and accounts, on the same records as SamLab on your Windows desktop, kept in sync. Made by Sammed Technosol, Kota, Rajasthan, for pathology lab owners, pathologists, lab technicians and front-desk staff. PLEASE NOTE: this app is for laboratories that use SamLab. It works only for labs with SamLab Cloud and the Mobile app add-on. Sign in with your lab's Org Code. Your lab administrator creates your login; there is no sign-up in the app. YOUR LAB'S DAY AT A GLANCE • Patients, bills, amount billed, collected in cash and online, and still due • Tests billed and lab reports still pending • Any day, or any range of days LAB BILLING • Bill a patient for tests, panels and packages, at walk-in or B2B client rates • Record payments by cash, UPI or card • Edit a saved bill: add or remove tests, then refund or keep the balance as advance • Download or share the payment receipt as a PDF RESULT ENTRY • Scan the barcode on a sample tube to open its bill • Enter results parameter by parameter, with the unit and reference range beside each one • Text results such as "Nil seen" or "Absent" work as well as numbers • A verified result is locked, and says so LAB REPORTS (FTR) • Every bill's report by date, coloured by how far it has got • The lab report PDF, laid out as your desktop prints it, on plain paper or your letterhead • Download or share it, and see when it was printed or shared SUPPLIERS • Supplier Master and Mother Labs, as on the desktop • Purchases, payments, opening balances and what is outstanding • Every supplier's full ledger, and a mother lab's test prices MIS AND ACCOUNTS • Monthly MIS: bills, tests, gross, discount, net, paid and outstanding • Day Book, Cash Book, Bank Book, Vouchers and Ledger • Bill Settlement Register: which bills are settled and which are not ON A WEAK CONNECTION Screens you have opened stay readable on the phone. Saving needs a connection, and the app tells you so instead of losing your typing. SECURITY AND PRIVACY • You see only what your role and branch allow, as set by your administrator • Each laboratory's records are kept apart from every other laboratory's • Encrypted in transit; optional Face ID to sign in again • No advertising and no tracking WHAT STAYS ON THE DESKTOP Barcode printing, analyser (machine) interfacing, masters other than suppliers, multi-branch roll-ups, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, ABDM and scheme claims remain in SamLab for Windows. Do I need SamLab on the desktop? Yes. The app works on the same records as SamLab for Windows; it does not replace it. Is the app free? It is free to download. It works only for labs with SamLab Cloud and the Mobile app add-on, which are bought from Sammed Technosol. The free trial does not include the app. Can patients use the app? No. It is for laboratory staff. Patients receive their reports from the lab. SamLab is a record-keeping, billing and reporting tool for licensed laboratories. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice. All clinical judgement, verification and report approval remain with your own qualified staff.
