Description
Die SantanderSign-App dient der Freigabe von Aufträgen aus dem Online Banking für Kunden der Santander in Deutschland. Transaktionen, die im Online Banking oder mit der Mobile Banking App getätigt werden, werden in der SantanderSign-App als freizugebende Transaktion angezeigt und können mit Hilfe des Fingerabdrucks, der Gesichtserkennung oder durch Eingabe des persönlichen Passworts freigegeben werden. Laden Sie die SantanderSign-App sowie die Mobile Banking App auf Ihr Smartphone und seien Sie flexibel bei der Durchführung Ihrer Bankgeschäfte von unterwegs. Zur Aktivierung benötigen Sie Ihre Online Banking Zugangsdaten.
Die zweifache Verifizierung Ihrer mobilen Bankgeschäfte dient Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit und wurde auf Grund der PSD2 Verordnung (europäische Zahlungsdiensterichtlinie) von September 2019 als zwingend notwendig erachtet. Diese Richtlinie ist für Banken in der EU verpflichtend.

The App is too Dumb
So. The idea for online banking it's supposedly be easy the life. That's not happen with the SantanderSign app. What happen if I do not have SMS signal- another option do not work, pretty sure, I tried it.
Then, if you use your iPad and Laptop, the SantanderSign in your phone doesn't help.
Unable to install
Tried to install with 3 different browser and on 2 different phones nothing worked. called customer care, asked if they can simply send me a letter with the necessary code, support only told me it is my browser and hang up on me twice ! Most horrible experience in my 20 years of using online banking.
