Bread Crumbs

My friend once said, “leave some bread crumbs along the way if you ever need to find your way back.”

Some good life advice! Of the millions of apps out there that can find a point on a map, for some reason I’ve always come back to this one. It’s simple, and works consistently for what it is supposed to do. It’s also not bad on the eyes. If I ever lose the person I’m with at a festival, we can find each other… and it doesn’t need an internet connection to get back to your car when you forget where you parked.

The dev was also nice and sent me a link to unlock the app after I emailed him about the subscription and having been a long-time user. Thanks for that!

You are the BEST!

Never had such a simple solution from any software support before! For years I have loved the app’s simplicity and accuracy. I use it very often when in a rush in an unfamiliar area. Then one day suddenly I was no longer able to use any of its wonderful functions without paying something or subscribing. However, since I already paid to use the app, I wrote support to see whether there was a way to turn off the nag screen? Within a day they emailed me back I a link to fix the glitch and get back unlimited access. One tap and issue resolved! My only regret is that I can only give you 5 stars… You deserve an entire galaxy of them!

Hello. Thank you for using the pp and for this feedback. About directions: this app based on GPS locations, and it gives you direction and the distance. This is unique and different from ordinary directions. But it allows you to use the app without an internet connection. About the icon: I'm just trying something different. It's just a temporary experiment. You still can change the app icon back to the original in the Anchor Pointer Settings > App Icon. P.S. Take care of yourself ;) - Alex, developer of the app.

Very well designed

Its design is not cluttered and is very easy to grasp. I will definitely continue to use this app whenever I need to find a location again or find a parked car. It’s much easier to just open this app and make an anchor than to go through the process of dropping a pin in Google or Apple maps. I always find it very tedious and hard to name and manage pins in those apps, but here it’s really simple and with the added features of the anchor list + being able to use different icons for different locations I’m able to pull up a location really quickly.
