SCADfit app 4+

I just downloaded this app since I’m supposed to schedule for classes on Monday & I thought it would help make organizing my assignments a little easier. However, when I tried signing into my student account, I couldn’t even log in because it doesn’t recognize my information.

At first, I tried using my username and password that I use for Blackboard, but it said I entered one of them in incorrectly. I thought it was a fluke so I tried resetting my password, but when I used my student e-mail address the app said my account doesn’t even exist. I’m not sure if I entered the wrong information or if this app has a few bugs, but I recommend contacting the developers first to figure out how it works before you start using it.

I was very excited to discover that SCAD Fit had a convenient app that I would be able to keep track of my classes through only to be disappointed with its non functionality. I didn’t have issues logging in like most of the people. The issue was that once I got in and tried to do anything, it told me that I needed to verify my email account (even though I already did that months ago). Then, when I click the button to verify it tells me there’s an error verifying my account but doesn’t give me any other options. Just leads me back to a blank page. This happened on several of the pages and basically barred me from doing anything whether it was viewing and scheduling classes or accessing and changing my account information. It feels like a school full of artists and designers would prioritize creating apps that are not only user friendly, but have basic functionality. The last update/ bug fix for anything regarding this app is listed from 6 years ago. Why is this even on the app store and still available if it’s not receiving any for of maintenance? Either take care of it or take it down.

I haven't actually used the app yet, but I was confused at the other reviews when I installed it. In order to log in to SCADFit, you aren't supposed to use your SCAD student email. You are supposed to go to the 'resources' tab on the myscad website and create an account for SCADFit there. It is strange how you can't create an account within the app, but this how it works.
