Pinch or double-tap to zoom into scanned pages. Swipe left on a page to delete it, and tap Undo within a few seconds to bring it back. Tap Send by Mail on the export screen without creating the file first. The editor shows which page you're on, and its tools stay readable at larger text sizes. Back up your whole library — documents, page images, recognized text, folders, tags, signatures and stamps — to one file in Files from Settings > Backup, and restore it on a new iPhone. Documents already in the library are skipped. Export PDFs on A4 or US Letter paper, ready to print. See the total size of your export. When mail attachments go over 15 MB, scanAll suggests a compact version or sending it in parts. Pages saved to Photos now keep the document's order. Large documents (100 pages) export to PDF using far less memory.

Documents are now sorted by kind. Pick Receipts, IDs, Business Cards, Finance or Contracts from "All Types" above your library. Sorting happens only on your device. Find and open documents with Siri and Shortcuts: "Open a document in scanAll", "Search documents in scanAll". Bring PDFs and photos in from Files or Mail with "Open in scanAll", and save exported JPEG or PNG pages to Photos. Add "Find Documents" and "Scan" to Control Center, and the "Scan & Find" widget to your Home Screen. Fixed on iOS 26: "Find Documents" now opens the search field, and a failed save no longer leaves the unsaved change on screen. If a page's image file can't be found, the editor now says so instead of loading forever.

Find in Documents is much faster when you have many documents. English documents: euro amounts like "1.234,56 €", yen (¥, 円), dates like "01.03.2027" and "2027年3月1日", and negative amounts in parentheses are now read, and a line with two items gives each value its own label.

Find in Documents now reads values in English documents: $, € and £ amounts (also CA$, A$ and NZ$), dates like "March 1, 2027", and labels like Deposit, Rent and Total. It's stricter about lines for a different item — ask about the pet deposit and a "Security Deposit" line isn't used as the answer — so you see fewer wrong values. Everything is still searched on this iPhone, and it's free.

Ask a question in search, like "How much was the deposit?", and Find in Documents shows the original line where each document says it. Tap a line to see it highlighted, then confirm the value. Confirmed dates can go straight to Calendar. If documents disagree, you see each line instead of one merged answer. Key Details on the page list lets you check dates, amounts, numbers and names in one place. It finds matching lines in any language; reading the values works best with Korean documents. Everything is searched on this iPhone, and it's free.

Importing several files from Files now creates one document per file. On iOS 26, text recognition for long PDFs keeps going after you leave the app, with progress shown by the system. On iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on, on-device AI names your scans — for example "PACKING SLIP — Northpeak Outfitters". Your text never leaves your iPhone, and you can turn it off in Settings. PDF exports can now include page numbers and a watermark such as "For ABC Bank only".

Search results now open straight to the matching page, highlighted. Use ▲▼ in the bar below to step through each match. Smoother search and recognition updates in large libraries.
