Awesome but sad can't share
Works beautifully but a bit disappointed it lacks Family sharing.
I didn't realize this before buying, but you can't share the in-app purchase upgrade with members of your Apple Family. This was actually particularly important because that other member is myself with an Apple account I use for work....which is actually why I bought this in the first place. Now I can't use it on my work Mac because it doesn't share. Bummed. Wish I could have just bought a Pro version on this app I could share instead.
Fantastic app
I have a presentation to do soon that would greatly benefit from on-screen annotations. This is fantastic. Downloaded and played with it during a long boring meeting and am now fluent. You do need to mostly memorize the keys you want to use for a fluid presentation, but if you're sharing just a window, the toolbar is easily out of view if you need help. Very well done. Re-applying previously saved screens easily is an unexpectedly nice feature.
If I had one request it would be that the whiteboard have a 'float' option that defaults to the middle of the screen but has a resize handle and lets me move it. Why? Because when sharing a window, that window isn't necessarily slammed up against the side of the monitor so it's a bit awkward. Allowing the background of it to be a little transparent (same O hotkey?) would make it nicer.
Exactly What I Needed
I run web meetings and just need a simple and unabtrusive way to highlight and draw things during the meeting. I've tried several others but this is by far the best.
I can easily invoke and dismiss it with a simple keyboard shortcut and no distracting toolbar appears. I can then draw with click and hold and when I finish explaining I let go and it gently fades out. I can continue focusing on what I'm saying without getting flustered trying to remember how to clear the screen.
The detailed control of keyboard shortcuts is a game changer for me. Even things like toggling between my two most-used tools is just hitting tab. I can do everything I need and only have to remember two keyboard shortcuts.
