Description

ScreenNote is a paint tool that allows you to draw shapes on the desktop like a canvas.

You can toggle its state (show/hide) by long pressing the modifier key or pressing the left & right side modifier keys (command, shift, option, control) simultaneously.

Let's use ScreenNote when you hold a workshop or perform a presentation.

Note: The developer may end support for older macOS without notice.

- When specifying long press of modifier key as the toggle method, you can now specify the seconds to hold down.

Great but needs more features like......

It would be really helpful to have a color picker that would allow the user to choose a color from the page they are editing intop of to match colors. this would help with prototyping quickly an idea for a webpage that already exists.

Also a paste feture would be great, again for quick proto types.

Very good

Thanks for very good app! I hope that in future it would be possible to improve the Text Tool — to make it more friendly and intuitive. Currently this tools is a bit of a struggle to use, at least for me. For example, whenever I would like to put an additional text box, the tool repeats the text I already have. And when I would like to edit an existing text and click on it to edit, the app presents the last text I entered. Which is a bit confusing.

Has a lot of promise

I like the idea, but in my opinion, it's missing a vital ingredient: words! It's called ScreeNote, but how do I enter a note?

The draw tool could be used for hand-writing, I suppse, but this is too slow and awkward to do with a mouse. I want to able to type my note using the keyboard!

An idea for a future iteration: shortcuts to, user-defined templates, i.e. be able save any combination of shapes and copy it to the screen and reposition it.
