Description
Scrim is a utility to relay Org Protocol URL requests to Emacs. With Scrim, 3rd party native apps can send links and text clippings to an Emacs Org file via a special URL request (org‑protocol://). Scrim is a native app that is designed to work with the security policies of macOS. No workarounds that require relaxing security policy is needed. While Scrim can work with any program that is capable of generating an org‑protocol:// request, it is intended to work in tandem with Captee (also on the App Store), a utility to share links and text clippings from the Share Menu.

Great way to capture data from outside of Emacs
Ever since adding the sandboxing security features in macOS, capturing data from outside of Emacs has, largely, been left to copying pasting. This works, but is clunky and very manual. Scrim finally bridges that gap and allows you to use the proper org-protocol mechanism to capture data and put it into Emacs with minimal hassle.
