ScriptRoll 2.0 turns any device in your workflow into the controller, plus the everything-bundle from the 1.6 update. * Operator mode on iPhone and iPad. Until now the operator console was Mac-only. In 2.0, you can flip on Operator Mode in Settings on iPhone or iPad, pair with another device on the same Wi-Fi, and drive the read from there. Pick a script from your library, push it to the talent device, then play, pause, scrub, change WPM, toggle mirror, adjust the eye line — all without a Mac in the loop. * Drag to scrub the talent display in real time. While the operator console is connected, drag in the preview pane to reposition the reader live. The talent display follows your finger, then settles at exactly the spot you released. Useful for catching a missed line, jumping to a callback, or recovering from an interruption without restarting the take. * Word document import. You can now bring scripts straight in as .docx files. Open the import sheet, pick the file from iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or anywhere else the Files app shows, and the text comes in ready to read. Speaker tags like [HOST]: and [GUEST]: are preserved. * Voice tracking on iPad, easier to find. The WPM and Voice mode switch is now right next to the play button on iPad, both in the teleprompter and the recording screen. No more hunting for it in the top bar. Tap Voice, start playback, and the scroll follows your reading. * Smaller, more useful skip jumps. Skip forward and back now move about three lines at a time instead of jumping by paragraphs. Better for fine adjustments during a live read. * A few small refinements: the operator's WPM steppers move in larger increments so each tap is visibly faster or slower, the on-screen copy now refers to "device" instead of "iPad" since the talent can be a phone, a tablet, or a Mac, and the Mac version is on the same build as iPhone and iPad with all the same features. Same ScriptRoll promise. Everything still runs entirely on your device. Operator-to-talent control happens over your local Wi-Fi, never through a server. Your scripts sync only through your own iCloud account. No subscription, no analytics, no AI in the cloud.

New: Voice tracking. ScriptRoll follows your voice as you read — the script advances in time with what you actually say. Choose WPM or Voice per script. All on-device; audio never leaves your device. Also fixed: an iPhone layout bug that squeezed the script editor when the keyboard was open (worst in landscape), plus smoother handling when speech recognition drops and recovers mid-session.
