SDFX transforms your photos into works of beautiful art. We've developed the most versatile artistic filters to date! Our filter selection cover a wide range of styles, including vectorized cartoon-like processing, realistic AI painting styles, and classic smoothing and half-toning, to name a few. We use AI to let the filters work at different detail levels, so that for example faces are painted with more detail than unimportant backgrounds. In the app, many effects can be used for free. With a subscription, you can unlock all filters and settings, including HD, AI smart brush, and tons of other options like SVG export and batch processing. Subscription also removes watermark and hides ads, and unlocks both iOS and Mac versions. SDFX works 100% locally on your iOS and Mac device, so your photos & data never exits your device at all. Some of our filters: * Vector filter: based on "A Scanner Darkly", it provides accurate, comic-style vectorized output. * Ink: emulates Miller's ink drawings, it gives vectorized black & white sharp astonishing results. * Silk: a fast, silky smooth filter that turns your photos into dreamy, artistic masterpieces. * Pencil: transforms your photos into hand-made graphite pencil drawings. We use hand-made textures to give an ultra realistic effect to your photos. * Crosshatch: make an awesome vectorized crosshatch styled artwork. * Cartoon: Inspired on Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, gives a cool artsy effect to your pics. * Tricolor: An awesome vectorized effect using three main colors (customizable!). * Palette: beautiful coloring :D. Two years ago, I started not liking this as much as its predecessor Paintnt. However, a number of new fiters, and AI based filters (some generative) have been added. I never had crashes (on the Mac version), and I don't mind paying the yearly fee. The only thing to complain about is that it is impossible to get any support since the e-mail the company gives as a contact doesn't seem to work.

I love this app. It has everything I want for composing art that I will later paint on canvas. And it keeps adding new filters that I hadn’t even imagined were possible. I love the controls as well and the AI possibilities are incredible. This is the one app that pretty much does it all and doesn’t require the computer ability needed for similar results in the professional prompt programs. I’ve subscribed to this app since it first was offered and I’ve never felt the need to add another.

I love this app. It has everything I want for composing art that I will later paint on canvas. And it keeps adding new filters that I hadn’t even imagined were possible. I love the controls as well and the AI possibilities are incredible. I was an early user of SDFX and the experience was rough. It was slow, clunky and there are many other tools that do most of this stuff faster and without a credits system.I would check in every month or so and recently found the updates to be more usable and dare I say fun?The app is a bit of a digital artist toolbox with a lot of options to choose from. The AI additions are fine, but are outclassed by a dozen tools that only do that. The app is still a bit of a pig when it comes to memory management, I am on a Mac Studio Ultra with 64GB of memory and effects still drag... cloud connectivity to their AI processing box on our Gig fiber connection fails at least half of the time.The reason to keep at it with SDFX is that they are trying hard and they made something different that has a ton of potential. I'll keep trying stuff and report back, but so far it's a C or B-

I am not a graphic designer but I really like the effects this app allows me to develop from my flower and landscape photographs, from mild to wild. The AI effects at higher strength settings change the impression of mu images to the point where they appear fantastic. I particularly like the ability to simulate well-known artists' styles from my own images. Sometimes I display my original photos next to SDFX's renditions, just to amaze and confuse my audience. Love it.
