The app works as advertised, alerting me when items are listed below my price threshold. I now feel that I have an advantage over others who are looking for the same items on eBay. It's nice that it also finds auctions ending soon, so I don't have to add them to my Watch List through eBay anymore.The pricing options feel fair to me, and have already saved me money over other search apps. Instead of presenting just one pricing choice, I have options depending on how much time I will need the search to be active. I have recommended this app to friends.Update: I’ve been using this app regularly since it first appeared in the App Store. It is completely amazing. The developer updates it regularly, so it always works flawlessly, and I have found several hard-to-find items using this service. Thank you for this excellent app.

Saved me $350 on a professional drone

Sounds like a Geico commercial, right? I used the app to stay on top of listings for a particular professional video drone I've been looking for (I never pay retail price). After a week and lots of notifications, I got one from the app about an auction ending soon and I won the auction. Saved me $350 over retail, and easily $100 over all the other listings I had seen come and go over that week on eBay. I like all the search filters so I can thin out the amount of false positives I get. App is easy to use and actually worked. Thank you!
Saved me $350 on a professional drone

Sounds like a Geico commercial, right? I used the app to stay on top of listings for a particular professional video drone I've been looking for (I never pay retail price). After a week and lots of notifications, I got one from the app about an auction ending soon and I won the auction. Saved me $350 over retail, and easily $100 over all the other listings I had seen come and go over that week on eBay. I like all the search filters so I can thin out the amount of false positives I get. App is easy to use and actually worked. Thank you!
Quiet Hours Ruins App

Let me start with how much I used to love this app. It makes me sad to even write this review because this was previously one of the best apps out there and I would frequently subscribe to Pro during periods where I was shopping a lot more (typically for a few months around holidays) to support the developer. Unfortunately, the new update adds a new "quiet hours" feature that pauses alerts for 6 hours if you're not a Pro subscriber. That means for 6 hours a day you simply can't make use of the app without an active subscription. That's particularly troubling on a notification app like there where it's impossible to know when items may drop. I understand the developers needing to find the app, and I've supported that goal in the past. What I don't understand is why they felt the need to mandate 25% downtime as the path to monetizing. I'd accept ads, slower search notifications, many other options rather than simply forced downtime.I hope and trust the developer will reconsider and find less intrusive ways to monetize and I sincerely look forward to supporting them & updating this back to a 5 star review if and when they correct this terrible decision.

Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts. I totally understand where you're coming from. When we launched our revamped app in January, we added dozens of new features while keeping the same pricing structure. The one thing that became more restrictive was the Quiet Hours feature. The reason we added it is to allow our user base to continue growing. We are only allowed a certain number of API calls into eBay's system per day, and wasting hundreds of thousands of those calls while our users are sleeping was not a wise stewardship of those API calls. The Quiet Hours feature is a way to lessen the load on our search servers, while still providing our users good service during their waking hours. Being able to turn that off as part of the Pro subscription is an added perk for our power users, along with the faster search times. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this might be to you, but hope that SeeSpotBid continues being the best app for finding good deals on eBay. Thanks again, and please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email.

Exactly as the description indicates, you can set up auto-refreshed searches with push notifications to your iPhone! Pretty straight-forward app… no frills needed… i can compete with other collectors much faster than manyally refreshing 50+ browser windows! Sadly ebay has made some searches not work correctly anymore (not the developers’ fault) but i have found workarounds for most of the issues! Speaking of the developer, they are super responsive and have helped me resolve issues before!
