The future of helping kids learn to read is here. You can now help more kids succeed in developing reading skills.

This learn to read app is aligned with Orton-Gillingham methods and reinforces what’s learned in the classroom with interactive tracing activities, spelling and engaging stories.

See Words: School uses fundamental steps for helping kids learn to read in 14 engaging lessons using proven multi-sensory methods and phonics.

This app is simple, straightforward and allows you to handle the wide range of skills in your classroom at once.

“I loved that it started with a letter and guided them through the steps of reading from tracing to finding the sound and then spelling. Sometimes we give the kids too much. This was just right.”
- Annie, Kindergarten Teacher

Teachers have the ability to distribute customized curriculum to their class through the See Words: School – Student app. For example if a student struggles with a particular sound or group, a custom lesson can be created and pushed to that student’s iPad. Plus, it allows teachers to collect data to track progress, identify struggles and add support where needed. The teacher tool delivers pre-programmed lessons plus the ability to create profiles for students.

See Words: School provides pre-programmed lessons covering the fundamental sounds needed in the correct order to learn to read.

In level 1, students start with tracing letters and saying the sounds. Students can hear their own voice shared back to them. This allows them to hear the common sounds.

In level 2, readers build words using word families and the sounds they learned in the first level. This interactive practice reinforces what they just learned.

In level 3 of this reading app, your student will spell words with sound tiles. Tapping the sound tiles reveals the picture hints that they first saw and heard in level 1.

In level 4, a story is read aloud to your pre-k or kindergarten student as the print is highlighted. The student is able to follow along with the words of the story. Your student is then prompted to interact with the story by touching the letters that correspond to a spoken phoneme or letter sound. This turns it into an interactive educational game of beat the clock.

The See Words: School – Teacher app draws back data for your review. Plus you can create customized lessons.
