SeqScope — Industrial Protocol Diagnostics Modbus · S7 · OPC UA · MQTT · Open Protocol SeqScope helps field engineers discover industrial endpoints, diagnose protocol connections and inspect data using read-only operations. DISCOVER AND CONNECT Check TCP ports on a specified network or enter an endpoint and protocol manually. Open ports are clues; compatibility depends on protocol handshakes, equipment configuration and access permissions. DIAGNOSE WITH EVIDENCE Inspect the connection, handshake, session and data-access checks supported by each protocol. Review findings and suggested next steps. Diagnostic suggestions do not establish a definitive equipment fault. INSPECT DATA Browse supported OPC UA address spaces, read points, view MQTT messages and tightening results. Save points, view numeric trends and export reports or supported data formats. PROTOCOL SUPPORT • Modbus TCP: read coils, discrete inputs and registers. Serial Modbus RTU is not included. • Siemens S7: ISO-on-TCP / S7comm reads, subject to PLC access and data block settings. • OPC UA: opc.tcp, anonymous identity and SecurityPolicy None; browsing and periodic reads. Username identity, signed and encrypted endpoints are not supported. Do not weaken production security settings to connect. • MQTT: 3.1.1 / 5.0, TLS, subscriptions and message viewing. Visible topics depend on received messages and permissions. • Open Protocol: tightening results, historical backfill and alarms, subject to controller revision. Trace viewing covers application messages from this app's own connections. PCAP exports use synthesized network headers; they do not capture network-wide traffic or establish real TCP loss or retransmission. Reports use Markdown. Monitoring runs in the foreground without continuous background acquisition. READ-ONLY AND LOCAL SeqScope does not modify device variables or settings or execute control writes. Connections and diagnostics send protocol requests. Equipment settings, readings and reports stay on the device; passwords use system secure storage. Only user-initiated sharing passes selected files to the chosen app or recipient. A clearly labeled offline demo is available from the home screen. It generates data in isolated memory and connects to no real equipment. All v1.0 features are free. No purchases, subscriptions, ads or account required.
