SetDeck

Chord charts and setlists

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

SetDeck is a chord chart and setlist app for working musicians. Build your sets, then play them. Charts scroll themselves at the pace of the song, so both hands stay on the instrument. Everything works with no signal — the whole library lives on the device, because venues have thick walls and you cannot rely on a bar's wifi at nine o'clock on a Friday. ON STAGE • Auto-scroll that finishes exactly when the song does • Holds, so the chart waits through a solo instead of creeping on without you • Transpose a song and it stays transposed — it is the key you play it in • Big controls that work in the dark, with a guitar in the way • Swipe between songs, or drive it hands-free from a Bluetooth pedal • Draw on any chart — circle the repeat, cross out the second verse YOUR LIBRARY • Import straight from SongBook Pro backups • Paste a chart from anywhere • Pull charts in from Ultimate Guitar • ChordPro and plain chord-over-lyric, both understood TOGETHER • Share one library across the whole band • Everyone gets the same charts, in the same keys • Learn lyrics with a trainer built for actually remembering them SetDeck works offline first and syncs when it can. Free to use with up to 50 songs.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID. Sign in once with your password and leave the box ticked; after that, a glance or a touch and you're in. • PDF and picture charts. Import PDFs and photos as songs, straight from Files or Photos. They show full width on stage, move with auto-scroll, and you can draw on them. • PDF songs in a SongBook Pro backup now come across as PDFs. Re-import your backup to fill in the ones that came in as just a file name. Backups you export from SetDeck now include your PDFs. • Send to band. Save your band's email addresses once, then send a setlist from your own mail app, or share it to the group chat. Titles, keys, capo, BPM and lengths — never the charts. • Several setlists at once. On Setlists, tap Select, tick Set 1, Set 2 and Set 3 in the order you want, then print them (each on its own page) or send them to the band in one email. • The metronome is now a small square at the side of the chart instead of a band across the screen. It keeps flashing while the chart scrolls, and a button on the stage screen turns it on and off. • Tap tempo: tap along in the song editor to set a song's BPM. • A set break is now just a divider in the setlist, with no length to fill in and nothing added to the running time. • Auto-scroll at slow speeds really moves. On an iPad, anything under 60 pixels a second used to stand still. • Long setlists print in full. A long set used to stop at the bottom of the first page. • SongBook Pro imports now get each set's keys and capos right. Earlier imports could show songs transposed, or "Capo 0". • Signing out warns you before it deletes PDFs that are only on this device. • Settings > Account > Re-upload this device works every time. Pressed straight after opening Settings, it could do nothing. • Changes you make are no longer undone by a sync arriving from another device. • On setdeck.app, the chart editor lets you write charts as ChordPro or as chords above the words, with a live preview.
