ShakeKee is a human verification app that replaces annoying CAPTCHAs with one simple action: a quick shake of your phone.
When a website or app needs to confirm you're a real person and not a bot, it shows you a ShakeKee challenge. You open ShakeKee, scan the on-screen QR code (or let your phone pick up the challenge sound), and shake your device for about three seconds. ShakeKee reads your phone's motion sensors, confirms the movement looks human, and sends back a signed, hardware-backed proof of humanity. The site unlocks — usually before you've set your phone back down.
No picture grids. No fire hydrants. No "select all the crosswalks." No account, no personal details, no ad-tech tracking.
HOW IT WORKS
1. A site asks you to verify and displays a ShakeKee QR code (or plays a short challenge tone).
2. Open ShakeKee, wait until the app picks up the challenge tone or point your camera at the QR code
3. Shake your phone naturally for about three seconds.
4. ShakeKee analyzes the motion, signs the result on your device, and submits it.
5. The site confirms you're human and lets you through.

WHAT'S UNDER THE HOOD
- Motion captured from the accelerometer and gyroscope, checked for the natural variability of genuine human movement.
- A unique device key kept in the Secure Enclave that never leaves your phone.
- Every proof is signed with Ed25519; the motion data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's sent.
- Apple App Attest confirms the app is genuine and running on real hardware.
- Only standard, published cryptographic algorithms are used.
PERMISSIONS
- Camera: to scan challenge QR codes. Nothing is recorded or stored.
- Microphone: to receive challenge codes sent as sound. Audio is processed on-device for the challenge tone only, and is never saved or uploaded.
- Motion & Fitness: to read the shake gesture.
