sure you can use it for translations thats obviously the most baseline offering... but if you're like me and endeavor to actually learn a language down to its construction and syntax because you really want to understand the beauty and intricacies of languages, this is your ✨holy grail✨ of all language apps.there are so many modes of learning and practical usages that the developer has packed into this app. i'm super looking forward to future updates.it's everything i ever wanted and makes me actually stoked to learn with confidence. i use it all the time for chinese (between regions! cn<>tw), spanish, italian, german, japanese, and korean. i can never go back to any other app again, this one has kind of ruined all other ones for me forever :)

Really enjoying Shape Language! The app is simple, intuitive, and makes learning a new language feel much more practical. I especially like how it breaks down translations so you can understand the meaning instead of just memorizing words. The different features make practicing feel natural and useful for real conversations. Definitely worth trying if you’re learning a language. 👏

No other app comes close to giving me an understanding of what I’m reading or learning in Japanese. This has accelerated my learning dramatically.
