Shared Shutter is a camera for families and close friends. Make an album for the trip, the birthday or just the family, invite everyone with a message, and the photos and videos you choose to add land on every member's iPhone, in full quality.
The camera you know
• The same photo quality as the Camera app: 24 MP with Deep Fusion and Smart HDR, 48 MP when you want it
• Live Photos, Portrait, Cinematic, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, 4K HDR video, Spatial and Dual Capture
• 0.5×, 1×, 2× and telephoto, 24, 28 and 35 mm, macro, timer, grid and level
• On your Lock Screen and on Camera Control, so you never miss the moment
• Reads QR codes: links, contacts, events and Wi-Fi
You choose what to add
• Shots wait in a tray until you pick the keepers and tap Add
• Or turn on Add straight to albums and everything goes in as you take it
Everyone gets it
• New photos arrive on every member's phone, with hearts and comments
• Your photos save to your Photos library; choose whose photos you save too
• See who took what, and filter by person
Where you were
• Photos sit on a map, and Shutter names the places for you to confirm
• Turn a trip into a recap and send it in Messages; the family opens it in Shutter
The family remote
• Prop your iPhone up and use another family iPhone as its shutter, with a live view, so you're in the photo too
• Works with no Wi-Fi or cell signal
Private by design
• No accounts, no ads, no tracking: it uses the iCloud account already on your iPhone
• Albums are invite-only and stored in the album creator's iCloud
• The developer never sees your photos
• Deleted photos wait in Recently Deleted for a week
Free for up to 5 albums
Start and join up to 5 albums for free. Shutter Unlimited, a monthly subscription, lets you start and join as many as you like. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; the subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Every album you're in stays yours if it ends.
