Use of Location Data
ShiftGuide collects location data strictly for the purpose of enabling core field management functionality. Location data is only captured when a field representative actively performs a “Check-In” or “Check-Out” during a customer visit. This ensures accurate documentation of visit locations and helps the company verify that visits have taken place as scheduled.
We do not track users in the background, and location access is not continuous. The app requests foreground location permission only, and the collection of location data is directly tied to user-initiated actions.

To verify that a field visit was completed at the correct physical location.
To log visit timestamps and coordinates for reporting and operational compliance.
To ensure accurate tracking of customer engagements in the field.
How We Handle Location Data:
Location data is securely transmitted and stored on our backend server.
It is never shared with third parties or used for marketing, profiling, or behavioural tracking.
Users are prompted for permission the first time location access is required, and they may revoke access at any time via device settings.
