ShiftJot
Log jobs, tasks and photos
Free
Log work the moment it happens: time, ticket, photos and notes. Your history and reports stay in sync with the web version.
ShiftJot is a simple work log for IT technicians and anyone who works out in the field. Log a job in seconds from your phone, attach a photo, and see it all again later on the web.
LOG WORK AS IT HAPPENS
• Add an entry with a title, category, ticket or asset ID, minutes and a note
• Or start a timer and stop it when you're done, then resume it later if the job isn't finished
• Scan an asset tag barcode or QR code into the asset ID field with your camera
• Record who the work was for. Pick from recent people to fill in their name, user ID and phone number, and tap a number to call
PHOTOS AND NOTES
• Attach photos to any entry or task: a broken part, an error message, a label
• Keep a running notepad, and dictate notes by voice instead of typing
TASKS THAT DON'T GET LOST
• Keep a to-do list of pending tasks with priority and details
• Mark each task Done and Logged separately, so finished work always makes it into your log
• Swipe to delete tasks and entries
HISTORY AND REPORTS
• Browse your log day by day
• See totals for the last 7 or 30 days, all time, or any date range
• Pie, bar and per-day charts by category, measured by time or by number of entries
• Create a PDF report to share, or export a spreadsheet (CSV)
THE SAME ACCOUNT EVERYWHERE
Sign in with the same email and password in the app and on the web at app.shiftjot.com, and your entries, tasks, notes and photos show up in both. An internet connection is required.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your entries are visible only to you. No ads, no tracking, no analytics. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.
