Fill open shifts faster Send swap invites and standby requests straight from Shiftly Team via iMessage, email or any app your team already uses, with Notification alerts ShiftlyWork— Every shift, in its place. The shift calendar that finally works the way shift workers do. Built for the work nobody else builds for If you've ever stared at the calendar app on your phone and felt that it was made for someone else's life, you're not imagining it. Most calendars assume a Monday-to-Friday world. They treat every day the same. They can't tell a Day shift from a Night shift. They have no concept of "Off." They don't know that you have thirty-six days of annual leave and have already burned twenty-six of them. They certainly can't help you swap a Thursday night with the colleague who covered for you last month. ShiftlyWork was built specifically for that gap. It is a shift-aware calendar, fatigue tracker, leave manager, payroll estimator, and pattern generator — designed from the ground up for people whose schedule rotates, whose nights become days, and whose weekends can land on a Tuesday. Whether you fly aircraft, monitor air traffic, drive trucks, run a hospital ward, walk a factory floor, secure a checkpoint, marshal an airport stand, staff a hotel front desk, or operate machinery on a rig, ShiftlyWork is the one app on your phone that finally understands what you actually do for a living. The whole product is shaped by a single belief: shift workers deserve the same quality of software that knowledge workers take for granted. No more cramming a twenty-four-hour life into a nine-to-five tool. No more sticky notes on the fridge. No more group-chat scrolling to remember who agreed to swap what. No more spreadsheets that nobody updates after the third week. Just a clean, fast, beautifully designed app that knows what a shift is, knows what fatigue means, and knows that your wallet has a different rhythm than your team lead's. ShiftlyWork is offered today on iPhone built in respective platform's modern frameworks — SwiftUI and the latest Liquid Glass design language on iOS, so the app feels at home on whichever device you carry, with full feature parity across both. A Smart Calendar that thinks in shifts. The home of ShiftlyWork is the calendar — but unlike every calendar you've used before, this one speaks your language. Each day is colour-coded by shift type. Day shifts glow in warm orange. Nights cool to a deep violet. Off days settle into a quiet grey. Comp days, annual leave, and standby duties each get their own visual identity, so a single glance at the month tells you everything: where you're working, where you're resting, where you're on call, and where you're free. You can scroll any month, tap any date, jump to any year. The current week is highlighted softly. Today is marked with a ring. Shifts show their start times right on the cell, so you can see at a glance whether Wednesday is an 06:00 day shift or an 18:00 night, whether Saturday is a comp off or a real day to yourself. The Sunday-to-Saturday week start works for most regions, but you can switch to Saturday-start if your Shift Patterns: set it once, forever scheduled. ShiftlyWork is that tool. Every shift, in its place. Every leave day accounted for. Every swap tracked. Every fatigue signal noticed. Every dirham earned, calculated. All of it on the device already in your pocket, designed by people who understand the work and respect the worker. Download ShiftlyWork today and put your schedule, your sleep, your earnings, and your life back where they belong — in your hands.

This update is all about one thing: getting shifts covered faster, with less chasing and less confusion. We've rebuilt how you request coverage, added a proper notifications system, and given you the breathing room to handle requests on your own schedule. Here's everything that's new. Send swap invites and standby invites Coverage gaps are the most stressful part of running a roster, and until now filling them meant phone calls, group chats, and hoping someone said yes. Not anymore. You can now send swap invites and standby invites directly from Shiftly Team, straight to the people you need. A swap invite lets you offer one of your shifts to a teammate and ask them to take it or trade for it. A standby invite lets you reach out to people who've flagged themselves as available, so you can pull in cover the moment a gap appears. Both go out in just a couple of taps. Best of all, you're not locked into one way of reaching people. Send invites through iMessage, email, or any communication app your team already uses. Whether your crew lives in a group text, an inbox, or somewhere else entirely, the invite meets them where they are no forcing anyone to download or check yet another tool. That flexibility means faster yeses and fewer uncovered shifts. Notification Center and alerts Requests are only useful if the right people actually see them, so this release introduces a proper Notification Center inside Shiftly Team. Every swap invite, standby request, response, and update now flows into one clear, organized place. Real-time alerts mean you're notified the instant something needs your attention a teammate accepting a swap, a new standby request coming in, or a shift that still needs cover. No more refreshing the app or scrolling back through messages to figure out where things stand. The Notification Center gives you a single source of truth for everything happening across your roster, so nothing slips through the cracks and no request goes unanswered simply because it got buried. For team leads especially, this turns coverage from a guessing game into something you can actually see and manage at a glance. Hold requests to review and act on later Not every request needs an answer the second it arrives and this update finally respects that. You can now hold any incoming swap or standby request in your Notifications or Requests area and come back to it when you're ready. This is a big quality-of-life change. Maybe you need to check the rest of the schedule before approving a swap, confirm someone's hours, or simply wait until you're off the floor to make a call. Instead of feeling pressured to respond immediately or risk forgetting entirely, you can park requests, review them together, and act on them deliberately. Everything you've held stays neatly in one place until you decide, so you keep full control over your roster without the mental load of tracking it all in your head. It's a calmer, more organized way to manage coverage react in the moment when you want to, or batch your decisions when that makes more sense. Time Card notes on swap and standby invites Context matters when you're asking someone to pick up a shift, and now that context travels with the invite. This update adds Time Card notes to swap and standby invites, so relevant details go out together with the request and the right people are notified. That means when you send an invite, the important information the notes tied to that shift or time card comes along for the ride, rather than living somewhere separate. Fewer follow-up questions, fewer misunderstandings about what a shift actually involves, and a smoother handoff every time coverage changes hands. It's a small addition that removes a surprising amount of back-and-forth. Bug fixes and performance improvements Alongside the new features, we've squashed bugs and tightened up performance across the app.
