Great idea, but needs work

I love what this app is trying to do, but it’s not where it needs to be.

The app relies on the user taking a photo of their feet with a piece of paper next to it to reference a standard set of dimensions. Once the photo is taken, the user navigates through a tedious and sometimes unintuitive series of steps to manually define the boundaries of the paper along with the length and width of each foot. The app SHOULD utilize computer vision to automate these steps. It’s seriously not hard.

The app returns a set of numbers: the length of each foot in millimeters and in inches. With these numbers, it offers more data (such as width) if the user pays for premium access. At the time of this writing, they offered $1.99 per year or $4.99 for lifetime membership. I suppose with a lifetime membership you could measure the feet of all your friends and family for the rest of your life.

In conclusion, save yourself the trouble and just use measuring tape.

Hi Maplebeam,
Thank you very much for the detailed review!
We would like to hear more from you (please contact about the difficulties you have during the measurement procedure. What exactly is not intuitive and what are your suggestions for improvements?

Thank you for the computer vision suggestion, it's planned for the next updates. Yes, it's probably not so hard but also sometimes is not so accurate, depending on measurement conditions.

The current version is focused on simple but very accurate measurements on any device in any conditions, and on user interest and feedback for further improvements. Btw, your feedback on measurement accuracy would be helpful in this review for completeness.

Yes, you can pay to get extra features like width measurement and size conversion chart for different regions. And yes, with one small payment you get a nice tool that you can use as long as you want, measure feet of your family and your kids every other month to make sure you get perfect fit from your next purchase. And the best part, you will get support and all upcoming updates (including requested computer vision!) for free.

In conclusion, 1* is probably not a fair rate for the app that works as intended and solves the task with very good accuracy.

Thank you!

Try something else11111 ,

Makes you go through a bunch of steps then pay for width.

Recommend giving one free go with full functionality then charge for subsequent uses.

Works fine up until “Drag dots to longest toe and width”, can’t drag to width, this isn’t very useful.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, as stated in the app description, width measurement in the paid version. You should have known what to expect from the free version before downloading the app. The free version works as intended and measure length of feet accurately.
Please contact if you have any questions or need help.
