Sidetext is a private messenger made in the Netherlands, for the people and groups that matter to you: family, friends, and work. Hosted in Europe, on our own servers. Your conversations are not a business model: no advertising, no profiling, and your data is never sold or shared. Your messages, attachments, and calls are end-to-end encrypted with Housekey, in one-to-one chats and in groups. Your key stays on your devices, protected by a recovery code that only you hold. Sign in on a new device and your full history is there. Everything a modern messenger should do: text, photos, video, voice messages, calls, groups, polls, and reactions. Follow public channels for updates from people and organisations, or start your own. Built by a small team in the Netherlands that believes honesty beats marketing.
