SimpleCal is the easiest calendar app on the App Store.
Sync your schedule across platforms and devices through iCloud or Google calendar.
- Sync
All the events on your current calendar are transferable from another calendars via iCloud or Google calendar.
(The connection uses the calendar account registered in the Settings app)
- Widget
Your recent events can be displayed on a widget to grasp what to do quickly.
- Weather
The weather forecast for the specified area is displayed on the calendar(up to one week ahead)
- Reminders
You won't miss your important events via SimpleCal's reminder.
The reminders can be repeated daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
- Customizable interface
Each event and calendar can have different colors, which makes you easily recognize your schedule.
The color theme is also customizable. You can find your favorite theme for sure.
- Simple design
You can add or edit an event only with a few steps.
Do you have some routine in your life? Then, try SimpleCal! You can create a new event just by dragging a past event.
- Dark Mode
Supports dark mode.
- Data Backup
Saves event data to an external server such as iCloud Calendar or Google Calendar.
(The app does not have its own calendar and does not save to the device's local area.)
In the unlikely event that your iPhone is damaged, you can simply log in to your original calendar account to load your previous event data.

The best app ever. I wish it had more colors to put, please. It’s a very very good app. Although, I have a really big concern. This app is like a diary for me. So i'm afraid that if something happens to my phone, all of the events will be missing and disappeared for over a year and half that i’ve been using it. I have different calendars with all of the colors reflecting everything i do daily. So i would love it if it had a Sign in-log in option for the users to save their calendars in one place: this app. It’s simple and fantastic! It overlaps the other generic calendar apps on the App Store! Amazing! Please, consider and review my concern for the next update, it would be very convenient for everyone and it would help others to log in their calendars to different devices. Oh and i would love more colors, maybe palettes? Not asking for much, thank you so much! 😍❤️❤️❤️ Please download this app. You won’t regret it! It keeps your life organized and on track!!
Love this uncomplicated calendar app.
Most calendar apps I tried were too full of choices and made my head hurt when trying to get appointments and dates listed for the months ahead. This app. Is straight forward entering event, time, location and as many notifications as I want. A real plus, it saves previous data from appointments so the next time you need to enter that doctors name or favorite hair dresser you just tap on your choice from the saved list. The simple familiar calendar design let’s me see the entire month all on one screen. A great feature of the app is color coded saves on the app for different appts. I like to use the same color save for future appts. with the same doctor or nail salon etc. so I can easily pick them out when reviewing my calendar. 2nd time to review this wonderful App and I’m even more in love with it. I’m 84 and would not be able to keep my life organized with out it.
Nice alternative to Cozi Calendar
I’ve been using Cozi (gold version) for years now, but sick and tired of paying the annual fee. The main thing I liked about the Cozi Gold was it would send me 3 reminders. I looked every year for a calendar that did this, but couldn’t find one. Maybe I missed them, as there are so many...I only have so much time and patience to try some every year.
Anyway, I stumbled across this app and resided myself to having to deal with only 1 reminder. Well, to much surprise, it had 3! YES! About the only thing I don’t like is o have to view an entire month - I’d like to be able to view weekly, but I can certainly deal with that.
One thing I’m going to have to research is why my husband’s email is also in the settings. I need to see if he will be linked if I put the app on his phone. If not, no biggie.
