What's New Smarter Stat Selection Your stats are now organized into two clear groups — Foundation Stats and Modern Analytics — so it's easier to choose what fits your game. Tap the ⓘ next to any stat to learn what it tracks and whether the golf analytics community considers it a strong improvement metric. No judgment — just context. Coming Soon: Pro Stats The groundwork is in place for a Pro tier with additional premium tracking stats. Stay tuned. Settings Polish The Settings screen has a cleaner layout with a proper profile display and better-organized sections.

Drives in Play This release adds Drives in Play — a new way to measure your tee shot performance that goes beyond the traditional fairways hit stat. A drive is "in play" when your tee shot leaves you in a position to take a normal swing toward the green — no penalty, no punch-out required. Research shows that each additional fairway hit only saves about 0.25 strokes for a 10-handicap, but a drive that isn't in play costs 1–2 strokes directly. This stat captures what actually separates good rounds from bad ones off the tee. Since courses have different numbers of par 3s, the stat automatically adjusts for your driving holes each round (typically 13–15). Just like Scoring Zone GIR, you enter how many drives were in play out of how many driving holes you played. Also new in Benchmarks: • Drives in Play by Handicap — see how your rate compares across handicap levels • Driver Carry Distance by Club Head Speed — a reference table showing expected carry from 80–120 mph, including optimal and typical amateur ranges

Profile & Account Fixes - Fixed an issue where editing your profile (first name, etc.) wouldn't appear to save until the app was restarted. Changes now reflect immediately throughout the app. - Fixed an issue where users who signed in with Google had a missing profile, resulting in "Welcome, Golfer!" instead of their name. - Fixed a rare issue where customizing your tracked stats could accidentally overwrite your profile information. New Launch Experience - Added a branded loading screen so the app feels polished from the moment you open it.
