We gave SimpleFlix a full makeover for version 4.0 and honestly, it looks great. The movie and series detail pages are completely new — big backdrop, cleaner layout, and everything you need to decide whether something is worth your time: ratings, cast, genres, and where you can actually stream it. Browsing is faster too, with the new filter bar to jump between Popular, Top Rated, Now Playing, and Upcoming. Oh, and the app opens way faster now. We fixed that. You're welcome.

We gave the poster image a glow-up, kicked out some unwanted guests from your search results, and tightened things up behind the scenes. Enjoy the show.

Ever tapped on an actor and wondered, "Wait, what else have they been in?" — wonder no more. You can now tap any cast member to explore their full profile, bio, and acting timeline. Go ahead, fall down the rabbit hole. Speaking of rabbit holes: we added a one-tap escape hatch. That little X in the corner? It now closes the entire stack of screens at once. No more furious back-tapping after getting lost three movies deep at 2am. Oh, and when you add something to your Watch List, we'll now suggest similar titles you might love — because finishing a great show and having nothing to watch next is a genuine emergency. (You can turn this off in Settings if you prefer to suffer alone.) One more thing — open the Search tab before typing anything. You're welcome.

Hello! Hello to our friends from Brazil! We hope 2021 is treating you well! We have fixed a couple of bugs, and, more importantly, we added Portuguese support! Enjoy SimpleFlix and take care of your yourselves.
