Skeebus is a macOS app that displays your current public IP address in the menu bar along with a country flag. You can choose to hide the IP address and show only the country flag. The app uses GeoIP services from ipinfo.io to provide details such as country, region, city, postal code, latitude and longitude, ISP, and hostname. You can click the latitude and longitude coordinates to plot the location on a map. Skeebus also lists the IP addresses for your local network interfaces.
If Skeebus cannot reach the GeoIP provider, it will fall back to another provider and determine your IP address without GeoIP details. The app does not contact providers on a set interval. Instead, it automatically refreshes when an interface changes state, such as plugging or unplugging a cable, connecting or disconnecting wireless, or connecting or disconnecting a VPN. You can also refresh the data manually at any time.
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
