Sleep App Helps My Sleep Improve

We bought a new mattress two months ago. As you might know it takes a while to get used to a new mattress even one that feels perfect. This sleep app adds a scientific tool to the business of sleeping. It really helps me understand how I can do certain things to make my sleep experience better. The score quantifies the night. Some might not like such a score. I find the graph and the essays about better sleep really helpful. Sleep can be a subjective experience; this can make it more objective providing clear steps to take to make the night better. I recommend it highly!

Battery Drain & Inaccurate

When it works, the app seems to work ok. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now. There has only been 1 night so far where it didn’t randomly cut out and label part of my sleep as “signal not received”. The failure to track results in inaccurate assessments of my sleep. I also wear a Garmin watch and it has yet to cut out and be unable to track unless I take it off or it dies. The turning up of the volume, as someone else mentioned, is annoying since you can’t turn it down and have it stay down. I didn’t give a consent over use of my volume (that I could find offhand), just the use of my mic. Lastly, you need to plug in your phone to track. I simply don’t drain my battery enough every day to actually need to charge my phone all night each night. Even when my battery is drained my phone doesn’t need to be on the charger all night. I’ve had to leave my flashlight on for several hours and watch Netflix on my phone to get my battery level to drop enough so that my phone actually needs to be charged. Regularly charging a phone when it’s unnecessary can lead to poor battery health and no app is worth potentially having to buy a replacement battery for my phone.

I’ve tried them all. I’ve tried so many trackers, ones made by fitness companies, one made by Tempur-pedic, even the one by Sleep Number before trashed that air bed and bought a Tempur-pedic mattress. Including several different ones in the App Store even. Nothing is comparable to this one, I could go on about it but the best thing for you to do is to download it and try it out. You won’t regret it!!!

I’ve tried them all. Out of 7-8 nights I’ve had it: One time the tracker went all night, then glitched out and lost everything it had collected overnight when I went to “stop tracking” the following morning. One two nights it said I was in bed for less time than I actually was and therefore slept far less than I actually had. I obviously can’t protest the score, but I certainly know if I was in my bed and/or asleep and the time it claimed was definitely not correct.I always have it an arms length away and even with my chest without obstruction as instructed, but it doesn’t always work correctly.
