It is built for users who want more than a chat box. SmallClaw works like a lightweight operating layer for AI-assisted work on macOS, bringing models, permissions, skills, channels, projects, work items, roles, and visible agent runs into one structured local runtime.
With SmallClaw, you can connect supported LLM providers, send goals to an agent console, manage local permissions, organize work through projects and work items, and guide AI-assisted execution from one Mac app.
SmallClaw is designed around a local-first runtime. API keys are stored securely in macOS Keychain, settings and work data are kept on your Mac by default, and external model providers are used only when you configure them.
