How it works - SmartTrim uses a precise calibration and algorithmic system to deliver reliable, consistent readings on every trip. - During setup, the app guides you through a short calibration process that aligns pitch, roll, and trim sensing to your boat’s unique geometry. In operation, SmartTrim processes motion and speed data in real time, applying filtering and correction logic to reduce noise and compensate for sea motion. - For best accuracy and safety, your phone must be securely mounted and should not be handled while underway. The result is stable performance data and trustworthy trim advice in real-world conditions.
