Ratings and Reviews
Update needs an update.
With the new update you have to hold your phone too close to the test stick, so it makes the image too dark to obtain properly. Even in a night room with how close the phone camera has to be now, it creates dark showing. You have to use another light to illuminate the test stick properly and even with this additional light it still creates shadows which cause inaccurate readings. Hoping this issue gets resolved, before this issue is app was great. I got pregnant my first cycle tracking with this app 2 years ago.
Don’t rely on this app
If you’re ttc you know how important it is to get ACCURATE results. Especially when you’re ttc with infertility issues. This app will not read your strip correctly. It won’t let you select where the test and control line is, shows the box around the test and control line being read looks correct but reads a wildly incorrect value so when you go to retake the picture cause there’s no way a barely visible line has a value of 4.5 and then you’ll find out the box where it’s pull the “value” from isn’t the original box it showed you would be used isn’t the same box in the picture anymore and it’s actually reading the shadow behind the test because you’re forced to take a picture of the test on a white background with a red box EVEN THOUGH IT STILL CANT READ IT CORRECTLY. Buying SmileReader compatible tests was a mistake and has helped me waste another cycle. Thanks for being useless I guess?
Great app but a few glitches
When I first downloaded the app I LOVED IT! I loved knowing exactly was going on and when instead of just an estimate. However, a few weeks in the camera stopped recognizing the test and wouldn’t take a picture of the strip. I decided to delete the app and re-download it. It started working again as normal but then about a week later it did the same thing. Again I deleted it and re-downloaded the app but today it has stopped working again. I really do love this app and I think it is really working for us I just wish the camera issue would get fixed. Still recommend giving it a try because after two years of trying to conceive I just got a positive TODAY!
