Snap&Read Universal reads both accessible and inaccessible text aloud from websites, images, photographs, PDFs, and more. Snap&Read also adjusts complex text to be more readable, and can translate text into over 100 languages. You can even take a picture and have the text within that picture read aloud.
Snap&Read has both an App (for reading aloud, translating, simplifying, and annotating PDFs and Images) and a Safari extension (for reading, simplifying, and translating websites).
If difficult vocabulary is too challenging, Snap&Read can dynamically level the text. Essentially, Snap&Read will pick out the difficult words/phrases and swap them out for easier to comprehend vocabulary/phrases. To see the original word, just tap on it to toggle between the original word and the simplified word.

Finally, if you have paper, magazine, book, etc... you can use the Camera feature to take a picture and read. If you’re on the go and don’t want to bring your books… you can save the images to your picture library and access them all later right from the Snap&Read App even if you have no internet connection.
This app works really well on web pages. Not as great as voice dream, but since I'm paying for the service already on my computer, I think it might be worth it for others. The camera feature does not work as states. There is no way to access your photo library within the app. Neither is there a way to send photos from photo library to the app. Needs some improvements but it's okay. I would really like to see the picture feature improved because I have voice Dream for the other.

Wow! Amazing new features! I have been using this app for years but the fact that it now translates , levels and reads all within Safari is amazing! I love to take a picture of text and have it read out loud and then type on top of it in the app as well. Highly accurate OCR and a great accessibility app!

This app didn’t let me creat an account I put in two different emails and still nothing it kept on say that the log in didn’t match. Waist of time I was getting frustrated because I was putting the right information and still gave me a hard time.
