Description
A visual sideboard for what you just copied inside your notch.
Snippet shows your most recent clipboard items – text, images, colors, files – in a clean, glanceable view from your Mac’s notch or menu bar. It’s not a history. It’s a short-term, visual space for things you’re using right now.
Need it longer? Then save it.
Everything else? Snippet keeps it within reach until you’re done.
SEE WHAT YOU JUST COPIED
• Text stays readable and sharp
• Images are scaled properly
• Colors show as live swatches
• Files display names and types
No pasting into Notes just to check what you copied.
A SIDEBOARD, NOT A HISTORY
Snippet isn’t trying to archive your clipboard.
It’s designed for the now – a flexible, temporary space.
Items stick around just long enough to act on them.
• Lock items you want to keep
• Add color labels for quick scanning
• Filter by type: text, images, files, URLs, or colors

Ratings and Reviews
It Works
That’s it, it just works, no crashes, it’s useful and the developer is listening to the reddit community feedback to improve this app. It has potential.
Has potential to be great
I like the simplicity of this app compared to other clipboard managers though it’s lacking a few areas. I’d like more support for keyboard shortcuts. Like being able to select a snippet with arrow keys? I’m not sure what the second keyboard short pictured is supposed to do, but I couldn’t seem to get it to work. What is the second key pictured, “return” or “right arrow”? It would also be nice to toggle the lock with the keyboard as well. It would also be nice if it had menubar icon that allows users to know when it’s running, allow them to close it if necessary, and maybe to allow users access to future setting menu, where maybe the could customize keyboard bindings to better suit their workflows.
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much for your review and the great suggestions! The symbol you mentioned is the TAB symbol — you can quickly switch between your filters using CMD + TAB. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely consider your ideas for future updates.
Good stuff!
Helpful tool! Thanks!
