It brings helpful, tailored information for me to understand how to optimize my sun exposure, while paying close attention to health effects from UV.What it brings: detailed data and graphical analysis, syncs with Apple Health, has multiple widget options for your screens, Apple Watch compatibility, and even vitamin d tracking from nutrition.While Sola has a lot of use for anyone who wants to safely tan their skin, I primarily use the app to track my Time in Daylight and help my body regulate circadian rhythm. Being outdoors and sunlight exposure have significant effects on mental health, and I use this app to tell me when it’s a good vs bad time to go outside to improve my mood. What’s really nice is that Sola also sends me safety notifications on UV exposure, a feature I used a lot over a weekend trip to maximize my time outside without getting burned.As a final note, it’s clear from the attention to detail and how frequently this app is updated that the Developer cares about this app, which is another plus in looking for a sunlight app I can use and count on for the long term.
