Great Application!

I have had SoundHound for years. Started with the free version but quickly got the paid version. It was $4.99 and worth every penny. It may cost more nowadays, I think maybe $6.99 but it is easily worth $10. During the years I have used it, SoundHound has gotten better with updates and, it has never been buggy. I have used it to identify hundreds, perhaps thousands of songs. It has a live lyrics feature and you can access your music library from the app. I like the SoundHound playlist feature that creates a playlist on Apple Music and automatically adds songs identified by the app to the playlist. I can go on and on but I will only add that if you’re into music, at least try the free version. It limits the number of songs you can look up but you will see how well it works. I use it all the time to identify songs on the radio or on TV shows. If you get the paid version, and use it, you won be disappointed.

One of my most frequently used apps

It must be over 10 years now I’ve used this app. I have nothing but good things to say. It’s been a very seldom time over the years that it didn’t pull up the song I was listening too, no matter how obscure. Did you ever find yourself hearing a song in a crowded place that brought back old memories but you never really knew who played it? This app has your back. Did you hear a song on a random tv show and really like it but never heard it before but you’d like to hear it again? This app will save it. And you can go over all of those saves at any point no matter how long ago you saved them. It’s like having an ongoing source recording the music score of your life documentary.

I agree with Donald-t

The old gray mare just ain’t what she used to be.
This app used to deploy instantly and now even with new equipment it’s like waiting for a snail to cross the road.
A small snail and if your not sitting on top of a cell tower delivering LTE you are simply wasting your efforts by the time it deploys and stops telling you your not connected to the internet the song is gone. While using it in the wilds of the northwest where my carriers signal is still not the best it used to pull an I.D. Of something but no more I guess all developers think you have a cable connection in cell phone land and have started building for stay at home users. And the success rate has disappeared to next to nothing and it used to identify the most obscure music you could find. I have heard there are other music identification apps out there and I think I’m going to see what they are like. After many years of great music identified found and corralled with Soundhounds help I have reached the end of my patience to many backwards function losing updates and to many you are not connected to the internet messages I am gone now how do I take my history with me?
