Read SQLite safely, see Git changes in place, and keep exact source-line context—privately and entirely on your Mac. Polished reading for Markdown and the files around it. Spacefolio turns Markdown, source code, structured data, and common config files into polished Quick Look previews in Finder. Select a supported file, press Space, and get a clear, themed rendering without interrupting your work. PREVIEWS THAT ARE EASY TO READ Choose Auto or one of ten crafted themes—including GitHub, Nord, Dracula, Solarized, Catppuccin Mocha, Gruvbox Dark, Tokyo Night, and Rosé Pine. Each theme tunes typography, spacing, contrast, code colors, and visual details—not just the background. Adjust text size, line numbers, word wrap, and Markdown outlines; options apply to the next Quick Look preview. MARKDOWN THAT KEEPS ITS STRUCTURE Preview headings, tables, task lists, nested lists, blockquotes, GitHub-style callouts, YAML front matter chips, footnotes, strikethrough, inline code, and fenced code blocks. Longer notes get heading anchors, an on-page outline, and a reading progress bar so you can jump around instantly. SOURCE CONTEXT AT A GLANCE Preview popular source files, JSON and JSON Lines, YAML, TOML, HTML/XML, C/C++, PowerShell and shell scripts, extension-based environment/gitignore/Dockerfile formats, diffs, and more—with bundled offline syntax highlighting. Exact dotfiles and extensionless build filenames can also be opened directly in the Spacefolio app. SQLite databases get a read-only schema overview and safely capped table samples. Optional source line numbers extend across Markdown, code/config, and CSV/TSV. Enable Git Highlights and approve a repository or projects folder read-only to prepare Finder Quick Look. See additions, edits, removed text, and word-level changes against HEAD in the app and Finder previews, within bounded preview limits. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Files are processed locally in the sandboxed Spacefolio app and Quick Look extension. Spacefolio has no account, analytics, tracking, advertising, or data transmission, and it makes no network requests. Your files never leave your Mac. A USEFUL APP, TOO Open local files in Spacefolio (or paste a path with ⌘⇧O), drop text into the Scratch Pad (⌘⇧N), jump any action—including outline headings—from the Command Palette (⌘K), switch between Preview, Source, and Split, find text, zoom, copy or export themed HTML/PDF, share, print, keep the window on top, reopen recent files, and try Markdown, Swift, JSON, YAML, config, CSV, and diff samples. Track task-list progress, link inventories, and section reading stats while you scroll. Minified JSON is pretty-printed automatically. Your theme and reading options apply to the next Finder preview. Spacefolio is built for macOS 14 Sonoma and later.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

SQLite previews are here, alongside richer source and Git context: • Open .db, .sqlite, and .sqlite3 files as read-only schema summaries and safely bounded row samples, with time-limited deep Find in the app. • See working-tree additions, edits, removed text, and word-level changes relative to HEAD after approving a repository or projects folder read-only. Finder Quick Look uses locally cached committed text and reads the selected working file live. • Jump between Git changes or compare Working, HEAD, and Previous versions from the host app. • Optionally enable Refresh Git Snapshots in Background in Settings to start Spacefolio hidden at login and keep committed baselines current after commits, checkouts, or resets. This option is off by default. • Keep exact source-line context across code/config gutters, rendered Markdown block ranges, and CSV/TSV physical rows. • Preview JSON Lines without collapsing records, plus expanded offline highlighting for many more developer languages. • Finder Open With now covers the registered source, structured-data, config, diff, and web formats; Quick Look styles .txt and .log; Markdown footnotes gain back-references; and spacefolio://open?path= plus the Services menu open files directly. • Large and actively changing SQLite databases use WAL-aware, read-only fallbacks and explicit safety limits to stay responsive without modifying source files. • Accessibility, keyboard and menu consistency, window and sidebar fit, file watching, and preview reliability are improved throughout. All processing remains local, offline, and sandboxed.
