Description

Mute texts from unknown senders with SpamOff. Opt out from default behavior and filter spam SMS from senders outside of your contacts list.

FEATURES:

SpamOff uses built-in mechanisms to mark unknown senders as junk so you will not receive those annoying notifications. You will still be able to view messages in a separate folder inside the messages app.

False positive rate was way too high

This app blocked 10 out of 20 of my incoming text messages. Only 2 of them were spam. I also had many one time passcodes blocked even though I turned on the setting to “allow one time passcodes”

SpamOff is designed to allow messages only from senders you know or those you’ve explicitly added to the whitelist. It’s not a traditional spam blocker; it focuses on letting through texts from trusted sources. Regarding the OTP issue, I’d love to improve the detection accuracy.
