Spellfold

Cozy rituals with a witch

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Step into Morwen's candlelit chamber. Solve her riddles, trace glowing figures and seal small spells into a private journal. No account, no ads, plays offline. Morwen, a witch who speaks, gestures and works her craft behind a candlelit altar, keeps a chamber full of curios and a book of small spells called the Spellfold. Choose a page, gather what she needs, and perform the ritual together. When it is done, the spell is sealed and its words are kept in your own journal. There is no plot to finish, no timer, no energy meter and nothing to lose. Come back whenever you like for another mood, another room, another page. THE SPELLFOLD 96 original spells across 12 schools: Love, Success, Clarity, Protection, Courage, Rest, Creativity, Fortune, Friendship, Renewal, Journeys and Hearth. Search by intention, browse by school, bookmark favorites, or let Morwen choose a page for you. Each day a Tonight's page is suggested, guided by the current phase of the moon. THE RIDDLE SHELF Morwen never names the curios she needs. She describes each one in a riddle, and you pick it from a shelf that hides a few strangers among the right ones. A wrong guess earns a teasing reply, never a penalty, and after two misses the right curio begins to glimmer. RITUALS YOU PERFORM BY HAND Wake the curios in the order Morwen asks, or join the stars of the school's sigil. Trace the figure each page describes, from an open heart to a doorway to a fork in the path, and watch your own inked line light as you go. Handle each curio in its own way: turn a key, ring a bell, warm a lantern's glass under your palm, draw a ribbon apart, stir a bowl, seal an envelope. Some curios also answer when you tip or shake your iPhone. Textured haptics follow your finger, and the last step closes the book. THE CABINET OF CURIOS 36 curios, from a velvet rose and a foxed mirror to a music box, a snow globe and a silver acorn. Open the cabinet to read each one's lore and riddle, and to see how many Spellfold pages it belongs to. YOUR PRIVATE JOURNAL Every completed ritual becomes a journal page with its intention, incantation and a thought you may add. Cast pages earn a wax seal, and each school shows how many of its pages you have sealed. Share a page as text when you choose, or keep it to yourself. WORDS WRITTEN FOR YOU Whisper an intention before a ritual and Morwen can shape the incantation around it. Or tell her what weighs on you, and she writes a whole spell of your own, choosing its curios, room and figure. Personal spells are composed on your device with Apple Intelligence on supported iPhone and iPad models. Without it, every authored page and incantation in the Spellfold remains fully playable. A VOICE AND A ROOM Morwen's voice is generated on your device, with optional closed captions and replay. Eight rooms set the scene for a ritual, from a rain-tapped parlor to an attic observatory, with original music and sound effects. Music, effects and voice each have their own controls. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No account, no sign-in, no ads and no in-app purchases. Your intentions, generated words and journal stay on your device and are never sent to an AI server. Every ritual works offline. ACCESSIBLE Every hold, trace and handled curio can be completed with a VoiceOver action, and Reduce Motion and larger text sizes are supported. FOR IMAGINATION ONLY Spellfold is fantasy entertainment. Its witch, spells and rituals are simulated and have no real-world power. Every curio and action happens inside the app: you never need candles, herbs or any real-world ritual. Nothing in the app is advice of any kind.
