Firstly, we all read articles or watch video that we find interesting; sometimes we want to save these links for future reference. Most bookmarking apps ultimately leave your links down a black hole, never to see the light of day.
Secondly, there’s a reason why the first generation social media applications took the world by storm; nearly ALL human beings require social interactions... but there are important reasons why a significant portion of the population is now skeptical about traditional social media.
SplashMind was created to address these two needs, both for Saving/Organizing links and Sharing/Discussing them with select people in a thoughtful and controlled way. SplashMind is different because the way you Save and Share your articles/links is unique. The Social 3.0 component brings your saved information back to life by stimulating planned or opportunistic discussions with your friends, colleagues and family. * Organize your saved links into Folders. Powerful Search provides instant retrieval.
* Share links with specific people. .
* Make each Share private to named people or “Public” to those following you.
* Add a comment when you share.
* Comment on other people's articles or video.
* Check out other people’s “Who Am I? - 28 Questions” profile - much more than a Zoolander riff. Thoughtful questions that say a lot about you.
* The Main Feed lists all your links, the links that your friends have shared with you and those flagged as “Public” - see what your acquaintances are reading.
* The Person Feed allows you to filter links you have shared with each specific person or which they have shared with you - never lose a shared article again.
