Mixed bag - works as advertised, some catches.

I want to use this app, but at the time of this review, using the Splitscreen display and the built-in display mirroring sharing appears to break features in sharing your input devices from your Mac with Vision Pro Apps (setting in Displays > Advanced). It seems to me that this may be a known limitation, as that disables the option when the secondary display is added when starting a Splitscreen session. This is a feature that in my view is really critical to the experience of using Vision Pro. If that is fixed to work reliably, I would have no reservations with paying for the time limit unlock.

Very Good Start

Overall, the performance is very close to being perfect. I am on a reliable high speed, low latency network and this app works quite well. Even at 60 fps though, there is still a little more input lag than the native Apple mirroring. So depending on your workflow, you can certainly use the Apple display as your main screen and use this as a reliable secondary display.

One thing that was not clear to me when I first launched the app is that you do want to make sure you first connect the native Apple virtual display, then launch this connection from that open window. This will create a secondary display that will show up in your system settings. However, if you try to launch this display first, it will mirror your monitor but it will not work properly.

I am giving it 5 stars because this small dev team seems eager to continue to update the app. They have some nice features planned and I image the performance will improve as well. Thanks for creating this app.

Good, some fixes away from great

The latency is noticably worse than the normal Mac screen display - but it certainly works and is nice for mostly static apps like Slack or Outlook.

My only gripe with this has been the display occasionally being unresponsive. The app seems to still consider the display responsive in the debug menu - but I can't see my mouse moving. Toggling the FPS quickly fixes this - but can be annoying to feel like I can't rely on the screen always being there for a quick app switch without the workaround.

Overall - very solid though - its why I was even excited for the Vision Pro and this makes that initial dream all the more possible.
