For as nice looking and easy to use as this is compared to Splitwise I could never go back. I’ve tried a handful of the alternatives and nothing does everything quite as well as SplitterUp. Does almost everything Splitwise does, some things it doesn’t like being able to easily re-split past expenses with a new group member. Plus the receipt scanner seems to be faster and more accurate. All this for $5 and no subscription? And it doesn’t track or sell your data? What a breath of fresh air in the era of surveillance capitalism.

People split expenses so many ways. And have different brains in how they view expenses - so SplitterUp is very thoughtful in being rather customizable based on your preferences. You can use it for meals, group trips, self budgeting, activities, etc.Highly recommend for both type A and b folks!

I really like the way this app is set up, it’s intuitive. Good amount of customizations available, like whether you want to default view to expenses by groups or individuals. Easy to see what you owe or are owed at a glance. The receipt upload feature is also particularly useful!

Downloaded this app after have used several other cost splitting apps and have to say the user interface for this app is so much easier and clearer to use! Highly recommend this over Splitwise!

Whoops, an issue with our last release did not actually extend the free trial to one year, which has been fixed in this version! Again, if you've already paid and would like a code for a free year subscription to use bank imports, reach out to contact@splitterup.app
