Warning: Incorrect Resultsets Returned
ConcernedDBA
Was using this app fine for a couple weeks. So I thought. I have been all kinds of problems with the data I am finding. It just did not make sense. Finally compared resultsets with another person using Razr and found that my resultsets were completely different. Same number of rows but the column data was wrong in certain places. I only have read-only access to the database so it definitely was not an issue of uncommited data changes, it was the app. I tried another app and instantly could see how much different the data was compared to what this app returned. Do not buy this app unless you want to chase your tail because of incorrect resultsets.
Cannot connect to any SQL instances
kgbo1228
I just downloaded this application and I am unable to connect to a single instance of SQL, no matter how I configure the connection, (host name, ip address, etc.). There are no connection error details provided. Even with the 'connection error', it still adds the server to your server list, but then will not allow you to delete it or modify the connection details. I will be requesting a refund.
Buggy
Shmooters
I have two databases hosted on Azure. When I add my server, I can see both databases, but can only connect to and query one. No detailed error message for the other, so I’m totally lost. I’ve tried explicity setting the database name as suggested, but still no luck. I also get repeated error dialogs (about 6 in a row) each time the connection fails. You guys are on the right track to having a great app, but come on, this can’t be called anything but a BETA. Please release an update with some critical bug fixes. Thanks.
Does not work at all
some-reviewer
Put it simply - this app would not even connect to a local Sql Server 2012 Express database. It claims that the database does not exist. Yet, the local Windows based sql client connects with exect same credentials just fine.Anny and all other features are worthless if one cannot even connect.
